For BC · Supportive Recovery

Supportive Recovery Software for BC Homes.

A registered supportive-recovery home runs on the same person-centered record as any residential program — intake and waitlist, consent, case notes, health, incidents, and the overnight checks that a 24-hour home depends on. Built in Canada, with residents at the center.

Built for supportive-recovery operations

The same platform, with residents at the center.

Karis already covers the work a community residential recovery home runs on. The supported-individual record becomes the resident record — everything else follows.

Intake & waitlist

Referrals feed a structured waitlist, and bed vacancy and licensed occupancy are visible at a glance so admissions aren't guesswork.

Resident record

Consent, contacts, restrictions, and history hang off the resident — not off a roster or a bed number.

Case notes

Documentation tied to the resident, attributed and reviewable — with goals and supports where you use them.

Health & medication

Medication administration and health logs recorded at the point of care, on any device.

Overnight & sleep monitoring

Bed checks and sleep observations logged through the night — a real record of overnight care, not a paper binder.

Incident reporting

Incidents captured with the fields your standards require, kept on the resident's record.

Why Karis, for supportive recovery

Three reasons it fits a recovery home.

Built in Canada.

Your residents' data stays in Canada, with per-tenant isolation and privacy built into the architecture.

Resident at the center.

Consent, case notes, health, and history all hang off the resident — so a file follows the person through the whole stay.

Purpose-built for 24-hour care.

Overnight bed checks and sleep monitoring are part of the product — not a bolt-on — because a residential home never really closes.

In production

Running a working agency, not a demo tenant.

Talitha Koum Society — a Coquitlam supportive-recovery agency — migrated off their previous system onto Karis Care in July 2026 and runs their programs on it today. Karis was built on their workflow, and it carries their residents, their records, and their reporting deadlines.

Switching to Karis

Moving off your current system, without the toll booth.

The hardest part of switching is usually the bill just to get started. We take that out.

  • Data migration commitment. We help move your resident records — migration assistance is included, not quoted.
  • No setup fees. You start by using the product, not by paying to access it.
  • No exit toll either. Export your reports in open formats whenever you like, and ask for a complete copy of everything at any point — we prepare it within five business days, free. Switching to Karis shouldn't cost you the ability to switch again.
  • And 60 days to change your mind. Tell us within 60 days of your first payment that Karis isn’t right for your agency and we refund it — with your data exported and handed back.

Questions

Supportive recovery software, answered plainly.

It is software that runs the operations of a residential recovery home — intake and waitlist, resident records, consent, case notes, health and medication, incident reporting, and overnight bed checks — in one system with residents at the center, instead of paper binders and disconnected tools.

Yes. Registered supportive-recovery homes are regulated under BC's Assisted Living Registry, and Karis runs the same person-centered record they operate on: the supported-individual record becomes the resident record, and intake, consent, case notes, health, incidents, and overnight monitoring all follow from it.

Yes. Overnight checks and sleep observations are recorded in the product on any device, so a 24-hour home has a real, attributed record of overnight care instead of a paper log — with health, medication, and incidents on the same resident record.

Yes. Karis Care is built and hosted in Canada, with per-tenant database isolation and Canadian data residency on every plan — your residents' records are stored and processed in Canada and do not leave the country in the course of normal operation. Three support services run outside Canada — transactional email, error monitoring, and billing — and all three are named on our security page. None of them stores your records, though a notification email can include a resident's name, and billing carries your administrators' contact and payment details, never care records.

Yes. Medication administration and health logs are recorded at the point of care on any device, and incidents are captured with the fields your standards require and kept on the resident's record.

Yes. Data migration is included in onboarding, not quoted as a line item, and there are no setup fees. We help move your resident records so years of history come with you.

We charge only for the residents you support. Staff, logins and storage are included, and there are no per-feature add-ons. Prices are published: Karis Care starts at $200/mo for up to 10 residents, billed annually. See the pricing page.
